Sparling Instruments was founded in 1912 by Ray W. Sparling. Sparling began manufacturing propeller meters in 1919 to measure water for irrigation, water distribution facilities and waste water plants. For more than 80 years the company has introduced numerous products and systems focused on the measurement of water, chemicals and other liquids for municipal and industrial applications. Sparling continues to manufacture its popular main line propeller meters, WaterhawkTM, TigermagTM, TigermagEPTM magnetic flow meters and ultrasonic flow meters to measure water, chemicals and slurries.
